done an indicated 100mph in my 1.2, on the same stretch of road had 105mph ou tof a 1.0l

book figure is 96mph. you will see 100-105 on the clocks though. a true 96mph is obtained in 4th gear though, 5th gear is overdrive

90mph is confortably achieved, its my daily m40 cruising speed b4 the m25's cameras limit me to 20mph...

Yeh I've seen 110 indicated, but its prob nearer 95ish? 90 it will get too with a bit of a run up and sit at it comfotably tho

Ive seen 105mph ish in my sport 1.6 on a slight upbank wiv me and me m8 in the car in 4th just b4 it hit the limiter

Rcb i believe Sly_SRi was talking about his SRi so i dont think that has anything to do with your question i only posted that so you can see that 1.2's are good top end not just the bigger engines although there slower at getting there

Think ed is right, I honestly had that on the speedo, the wipers were flying about aswell it was funny as fuck Probably more like 95-100 though I reckon! Had 120 in the rallye

Ive had 88 down a hill but as soon as you go uphill it says fuck this a slows down, might as well get in the crawler lane with the lorries

i must have had 100mph, even if it did say 105mph on the clock
just had plenty of road and a well looked after engine

it's odd, sometimes it gets to 97ish really easily (relatively speaking), other times it takes an age but it depends on weight, fuel, wheel size, etc, etc.. All i kno is if you shift up to 5th u will be hard pushed reaching anything over 90..
