Maybe too dark?
Ians is Europa blue & thats nice, quite purple when in the sun
Looking at it I'm starting to go off it, for £6,500 I could have a much better looking car. Or a convertible...

Like I said Steve Im not to bothered about the power, just a nice car to drive that looks nice. Not too keen on the standard Leons
Joe - Yeah
But the plan is to build up an XE/LET Corsa or Nova as a project

For 7k i would have thought u would have got a decent spec golf. Spent 8k on mine and got all the heated recaro leather, climate, some pretty good vw alloys (santa monicas), and then spent a little more and had it chipped up to 232bhp. Still getting pretty good mpg's. Regulary see 30-32 driving in and out of town and close on 40 on the motorway journeys

Astra
Definitely think you should buy a 2.2 or Turbo -- I was looking at the 1.8 until the girlfriend said I'd get pissed off driving it and wish I had got the Turbo. I'm pretty sure she's right as I still smile when I put my foot down
Plus you get all the nice little extras with the Turbo...

Not necessarily. I use to have cream leather but my centre console is a different colour to Ians. I think it depends on what year it is as I have black seatbelts, where as Ian has cream ones.

new ones are ok with decent levels of trim in them 1.6 very poor,2.0 has decent power but nothing amazing and the v6 is just best not talked about
one major plus though is warranty for 5 years
