I think you should have a newbie forum, and rename general chat, general car chat, or car chat

Astra Sport has 3 main forums:

Astra chat

Chit chat (includes newbies)

Non Astra Car chat

It works very well, and at least the people that come to the site look at astra information and not ford...unless they want too.

I like non-Corsa forum, but thats been critcised in the past for loosing direction a bit.

Also not all non-Corsa is interesting. I like 'I've just been to an RS meet' more than 'how many splines in a Citroen driveshaft'

I don't see why not, pretty straight forward and will clean General Chat up a bit.

Does that make it right? The problem is the reason new people log on to the site in the first place is for corsa info not other marques. Older members are so dominate on this site, that newbies dont get a look in and almost get frowned upon for wanting to talk about corsa related threads.

Just my opinion

The site is no loosing direction by talking about fords whatever

i know 100% there are people on here who can appricate others car/brands etc

the site will allways have info on corsa, whats wrong with talkign about some other cars as well

nothing wrong with it at all, I just think it needs its own forum

For example 6 threads in the 1st page is non corsa related. They could easily be in another non-corsa car chat forum and it would still be busy in here and there.
