The GT TDi 150 responds to chipping better than the 1.8T.

Yes but if u go further than chipping then the petrol luimp is where its at, i had a MAHOOOSIVE silly race for about 20-30 miles with a tuned black gti on the way to bournemout in my let corsa, his car so was fast it was unreal. There usually wasnt anything on an mway that could keep up with me.

I had to give up tho as my little amber friend popped up to tell me that racing golfs at silly speeds for long time = fried lambda sensor

They are ace cars and cheap too!

Yeah, I had a play with a 1.8T on some back roads few weeks back. On the straights he was begining to come back!

i did consider getting a thirsty car like th vr6 and also getting a 125 to use for work

Run the corsa into the ground untill its proper fucked, then get it rebuilt.....will be just like new

Jim what about getting a sensible car for the daily drive....or just keep the Corsa

&

Get a something for the weekend sir......nice car with a turbo for weekends / summers nights S1 / S2 RST or something

i would like to do that, but don't have the space at the mo for two cars.

could keep corsa for work, get something nice for evening/weekends etc

Mk4 Golf GT TDI is a good option.

the 115bhp goes to 150 bhp, the 130 goes to 180 and the 150 goes to 205.

Cant beat that performance for economy imo
