I can't do it as my working pattern rules me out, I'm not overly concerned who does it as long as they are reasonable and understands that sometimes passions run high in football fans and somethings that get said in the heat of the moment aren't taken out of context or taken personally.
Any of the aforementioned people seem like a good choice to me, in alphabetical order:

IMO apart from the obvious moving threads / deleting etc etc a mod in here needs to have the following:

* Experience on games
* Knowledge on stadiums and areas
* Knowledge on players and refs
* Attend games
* Knowledge on all leagues / teams

The mods for the world cup should be different to that when the leagues start again.

I agree, best of luck to the person / people that do it

I just think the people who mod the world cup will have a different knowledge to those in the league.

Eg - Will the mod know about serbia and then also know about Barnet?

Will the moderator need to know about this

The successfull candidate will need to know how to manage the forum so that its used to its fulll benefits and make sure it's not abused. And having a passion of football will help.
