Btw, I should point out that it's not meant to replace polishing.
It doesn't actually leave a finish on the car. All it does is clean it properly in order for you to then wax the paintwork properly without doing it over the top of stuck on filth that doesn't come off with normal washing.
It makes life so much easier though when you do wax it.
The stuff goes on and comes off realy easily.
Also, Zymol car shampoo is the greatest car shampoo i've ever used and works realy well in conjunction with the Meguiars bar and spray.
I used the Zymol wax (they call it cleaner wax) to finish, and it is realy hard fucking work.
It's a bit like old fashioned Simoniz wax and you have to do a small area at a time with a small ammount of wax, but it's worth the effort.
I found if you mist a very small ammount of cold, distilled water on the paint with a spray gun after you take the wax off, it seals the finish and buffs up easier and more effectively.

By the time I got back, she had insect genocide all over the front and oil mist all over the windscreen from the vent in the side of the seperator and airborn dust all over the oil mist.
Like i've always said, she's meant for going fast in, not polishing.
Best to just give the windscreen a going over with brake cleaner and then belt up and unleash the dragon.

Seriously Mav, if there are any areas of the green beastie that you're not entirely satisfied with, i'd be almost willing to stake my right bollock on the fact you'll get them feeling like a freshly polished mirror in a matter of minutes if not sooner.
The bar itself is white and pretty small. At first glance it doesn't look man enough for the job, but it is just right.
You just kneed it into a comfy shape to fit your hand, spray the detailer on so the whole area your working on has a healthy misting on it and then go at it.
The bar goes a mucky yellowey, browney, orangey colour, but you just turn it and fold it and kneed it again and the discolouration dissappears into the bar and then you carry on until you can't feel the roughness any more.
I rinsed mine with clean water after that, and then leathered it and did the waxing.
Shame I couldn't take the bloody thing out and show it off.

aint read the rest of the thread is vey good stuff bit of hard work and needs to be done when cool.
Megs paint cleaner is just as good and isa it easier to apply.
Found by washing claying, tech wax then a coat of Canauba wax and it comes up a treat.
Last year even though my paint was shocking it brought it up really well and hid the fact my car was a turd
