Seriously Monster, this stuff comes off easier cold.

Chewing gum on clothes is a nightmare, but if you freeze it, it cracks and falls off with a bit of effort.

The same applies to this stuff. It's bitumen based, and like oil, will solidify and go brittle when cold enough.

Heating it up will make life even harder.

Nick/borrow a CO2 extinguisher from college/work/university and wait for a cool day, then unleash the chillyness on the panel with the car in the air and give it some grief.

Discovered this years ago.

Auto Glym tar remover is your friend when it comes to getting all the black spots off at the end

The stuff on my GSi, I could heat up one corner and the whole lot would come off. Vauxhall didnt take no shit on post97 models

I Took out the block of deadening in the rear quarter panels but made the car sound like a van when shutting doors.
