Yeah but Scoobs arent much better. Both the Evo's and the Scoobs have their pit falls. If you have £7k to spend on summat like that, your better spending £5 or £6k and saving some incase you have any problems or need it servicing etc!!!

7500 or 6 months on a Scoob. Unless its an everyday car the 6 month interval comes first anyway. Does with me, think the most miles Ive done inbetween service is about 1100.

well tbh im considering a 51 plate bog eyed wrx tbh
some will disagree i dont just want it for peformance i want it because it should be reliable/fun/sound-nice/5-doors/big/turbo/like the look need i go on lol........
im gonna look at evo's now actually
the servicing, is it just recommended intervals or is there a set chart or somat which some1 can point me towards, do they go into safe mode like bmw's if bm's do do that lol im unsure

Another thing to think about mate is if you go for a bug eye it won't be as larey as a classic, the interior has been refined and the car as a whole is more civilised compared to the rawer classic uk turbo.

Its a highly stressed car, its wise to go a bit overkill on the servicing. i mean its not a mondeo where you get your little stamp in your book and drive in dead on 10k miles for your paper air filter and tesco value oil change is it?

As Eckmcmann said, the new Imprezas lack the punch of the turbo and the being slung in to the back of the seat sensation. The power is a lot more progressive and refined.

I would make sure you save at least 1k for repairs because they are serious money pits.
