True say
Also if anyone thinks they have done more than 112 in a stock 1.4 16v you have no hope in life, the car runs an f13 cr box which limits the speed bellow 120 due to the gearing

now 140mph from Dave A's car seems reasonable, an acquaitance of mine (i wouldnt call him a mate) reckons he got a true 135 out of a standard 1.6 16V vectra! i can't wait to show him this thread
ps it would appear i'm the only person on here that hasnt got his own private road to test my "top speed" on, so i wouln't know how fast my car goes so i'm quite glad people are posting in here.

vectras came with a longer final drive in the gearbox so it will hit higher speed easier but 125 is about its lot. even if it did show 135 then it would have only been doing about 128ish in reality

Cant dispute that due to gps but I was under the impression that even if running a f15 you cant do more thn 130 due to gearing?

If the clocks actually had numbers down south then mine would be showing 150+ on the clocks. Prob a real life 140mph at 7200rpm in fifth
