I'm deffo happy with my 106 over the GSI, fair enough the gsi is built a bit better but I love the look of the GTI

Handling BIG yes as for the engine I wouldnt know, mine had the 2ltr in from the start

Fit a Mantzel and a Unichip to the GSi and you have a 125bhp car and you have the car breathing the way it should have when it left the factory.

As already said, a GSi would just beat a phase 2 vtr, but how many real GSi's do you see these days compared to a saxo. I'd have the GSi anyday

Both my Rsi's have been more slack than stiff on the old gearbox. And no mine has p/s

vtr = 98 bhp 0-60 9.5
i thought they were 105 and 90, cos they ain much quicker than a 1.4 sport, the corsa just has a wieght disadvantage

and the saxo is lighter than the corsa
