people dont need 4x4's on the road, you could say i dont NEED a 228bhp car but fact is its not effecting everyone else by basically being a Panzer Tank

where i live i need a 4x4 more so in the winter and thats a fact

also i take it off road from time to time

also i used it to take my huge dogs places

and after hitting the deer i feel much safer in it!!

i can see peoples point on them but to say the drivers are twats tbh makes the point rather invalid

You know its funny, I cant stand stupid 4x4's either, and they are usually driven by annoying woman drivers who cant park 4 sh!t, but I guarantee if you have a go at a 4x4 driver they always come up with some reason why they absolutely must have one.

would you not protect your kids by all possible means?

4x4s are better in a crash against a shopping car, so the kids would be safer...

iv seen programs on it on a side impact, because of the extra height the car is basically going straight into your legs no impact absorbed by seats, also theres instability.

im su survival rates were mentioned as Being no better in 4x4s

ok, but what i said was if it hits a shopping car (corsa, fiesta etc) the 4x4 will be the safer place to be.

i think people buy 4x4s thinking they are invincible in them, which isnt the case, far from it

C'mon Rob thats not my point, My point is that larger vehicles arent all that safe. Regardless of how they're used.
