I'll stick to my guns as well with regards to dirk Kuyt.

Will to the same as Kezman did.

Don't rate him.

Liverpool were poor in the final 3rd, Kuyt didn't look any good IMO and I thought Pennant was Liverpool's best player.

Kuyt wasnt as good as his first few games, his linkup play wasnt as good at all.

Gerrard and him should of scored, as should Crouch as all had easy chances. Plus was a def pen that wasnt given.

Lets be fair tho, first start for Kuyt and he has shown intent... think he'll do much better than kezman IMO!!

Kuyt was unlucky hitting the bar....Then his shot well over the bar was a hard chance as it came to him so high...

Time will tell..

sissoki should have went..

Ballack was correct to go.

Robben is a diving wee bastard....

thats all...........

because Chelsea's midfield were so narrow, so allowed us to get round them. But playing Crouch against Terry isnt going to do much good so Kuyt and Bellamy with pace was the much better option IMO.

His formation and tactics cant be questioned, we created atleast 5 great chances which we should of put away and won the game, and they only scored from an undefendable goal.

Im not in such a bad mood TBH. Was a good performance by us, I mean its not many teams who create that many chances infront of goal against Chelsea. On another day we'd of scored them all and beaten them easy....just wasnt our day.

I said to my dad yesterday I think Liverpool have bought an over rated player.

Perhaps its easier to score a shed load of goals in the Dutch league.

Having said that, Ruud van Piss On Roy never had much trouble. Maybe a move from Holland to England is when a players real quality comes true.

Kezman was lethal in Holland too wasnt he?

Kuyt will come good, its his 4th game over here (3 of which he has played well when coming on) and is getting slated already!

I personally thought Kuyt worked pretty hard and looked fairly useful.

I was a little suprised to see Crouch on the bench though tbh

he came on for 20mins against West Ham at Anfield and his link-up play was first class (with both Gerrard and Bellamy), then played well coming on against Everton in a tough game. Liverpool fans are already loving the guy as you can see his work rate and vision. The finishing will come as he settles and gets used to the English game, but he is strong so shouldnt take him too long.

I wasnt. You cant play Crouch against Terry as he isnt better than him in the air. With the width we had in midfield we created the space to get make the chances...hence the 4 or 5 we should of scored!

True, although Crouch will always cause problems against most defenders.

With that amount of space that Pennant got to cross the ball surely Crouch would of been better in the box than Bellamy?

But it wasnt like we didnt create chances and couldnt break you down. We had atleast 4 if not 5 great chances to score so wouldnt of made any difference.

Throwing the ball into the box would of been easier for Terry to defend than what we did, he is too good a defender to just throw balls at him to head away IMO and think Rafa knew this.
