so you would rather carry on deluded with people laughing at you than be corrected
ps. nothing to do with your power results L30 they seem reasonable enough

nobody is calling him a liar, just saying that the rolling road was not accurate.
my engine made 177 bhp last time it was on a RR but that means nothing at all as any rolling roads exept Dyno Dynamics and Dynojet are never going to be accurate and consistent.
Dyno Dynamics UK sent a car to 15 different rolling roads and collected printouts from them all. the standard power of the car was 197bhp. results came back ranging from 190 bhp to 220 bhp. It was then run on 10 Dyno Dynamics rolling roads as a test (they regularly secretly check that their RR owners are not fiddling things) results came back ranging from 188bhp to 192bhp. this is normal amount of variance due to humidity and air temps etc...
chances are that with those mods donnas corsa would have made 150ish bhp. so 10 bhp out isnt a massive amount, about 14.5% over read which isnt a lot considering tyre pressure and humidity could easily account for 10% either way.

if you read my thread you will see the reasons why my I had my rolling road done, and yes it was done at a reputable place so its reasonably accurate.
It was there that i learned about dodgy rolling roads a few years ago

another example is this:
mine made 155 bhp @ 7000rpm when we were playing around on the rollers the other day. took the filters off and it made 148 bhp as the air/fuel mixture had been upset. even opening and closing the bonnet or turning the big fan in front of the car on and off made a difference of 5% in power.
Rolling roads are usefull for the following:
1, mapping and setting up engines
2. diagnostics
3. RR shootouts.
number 3 is good because you have a group of cars being tested on the same machine on the same day. the results can ONLY be used to compare against other cars there that were run on the day.

another thing worth mentioning is that vaux tested the x14xe and x16xe engines on an engine dyno (engine out of the car) with no waterpump, alternator. power steering or aircon.
so even their claimed 106 bhp wasnt a true reflection of the power it made when it was in the car with ancilliaries attatched.
