from a business point of view I see your motives and it's obviously worked
Where are the cameras located to act as wing mirrors as I can see anything sticking out

I can assure you it belongs to SQ Plus, I worked on the car FFS
The reason it says Apline everywhere is because they sponsored us with all the audio & visual equipment.
It does have SQ Plus airbrushed on it, but quite discreetly.
I'll post some pics that might show

Here's a pic showing the camera from a decent(ish) angle...
And one to show it from the side..
and a pic of one of the 3 SQ Plus logos on the car..
the other 2 logos are very very small though.. infact they're VERY hard to spot. They're in with the details of the artwork; one on the nearside door, and one on the screen panel behind the offside rear window.

Correct, it won't be worth £108k if we wanted to sell it, but the £108k figure comes from the cost of the original car, equipment, paint, labour etc..
The car did not cost us that amount though, as we put in the labour, and most of the equipment in the car was given by various sponsers (Alpine being the obvious one).. So saying we're stupid for spending £108k on a C2, is actually incorrect..
The other point I shouls make is that the £15-20k that was actually spent by SQ Plus has gone a lot further in terms of advertising, than if it was used to buy adverts or airtime. So again, from a buisiness point of view, the money was pretty well spent.
We have also earned a lot of business from the back of it.. private & corporate. So much so, that we have now opened a bodyshop in Kent, where Darren Horton is based.
The car is road legal, and is often used on the road - it has been driven to several local events
There's no point in trying to explain it to people on here. Most people are morons who struggle to wipe thier own arses without putting a post up in the wrong forum asking how.

The audio is crystal mate.. I much prefer the sound of this system to the Dynaudio/Diamond Audio setup in the Escalade
Not to mention that the bass is crazy loud when you want it to be

the point is the workmanship is out standing, the sound quality is mind blowing and for an advertising point of view its perfect.
Due to the SQ Plus C2 I went to them for my 5 figure install! They are the best company I have ever dealt with when it comes to my car.
So the point is it generates business! does it work? Indeed!

oh and if you are still not convinced
citroen had this car especially built for the motorshow this year. Now bare in mind this is one of the main car builders in the Europe, and could go to anyone or do it them selves, who do you think got commissioned to build it?
yes indeed www.sqplus.com advertising and show cars work

The reason for choosing a Citroen C2 was quite simple..
The Saxo was one of the most popular modified cars over the past few years, possibly due to the free insurance offers that were offered by dealers, allowing younger drivers to afford a sporty new car??
The C2 is the replacment for the Saxo, and it was anticipated that it may be a natural replacment in terms of popularity. The fact that it was quite new at the time of choosing meant that it hadn't been "done to death" and would create more of a "WOW" factor especially amongst other C2 owners/modifiers.
The choice also worked out pretty well in that Cituning had only just developed the wide arch kit for the C2 (ours was the first production kit from them) and the paddle shift box meant less trouble for the centre seat conversion.
Wether or not the C2 is a shit car is irrelevant, as there isn't much of the original left anyway! In terms of bodywork, the roof skin is the only panel not touched (aside from sanding & spraying).. Interior, nothing is OEM.. Engine has had a couple of mods, but its never going to be running up a drag strip, or round a track, or clocking 12,000 miles/year - so its plenty powerfull & reliable for its purpose.
