If you want one get one, what else is in the price bracket? I don't mind them personally, never driven one either so can't comment on that. I would'nt get one though as they are soo common.

yeah and it will have set him back 5k for the supercharger conversion. there are 2 of them down here and the fastest they got on the quarter mile was 14.2. I didn't think that was very impressive

i dont like the engine and style of driving the engine entails, i can forgive it in the dc5 integra and s2000 because these have qualities in there own right, and maintain a decent image, the CTR is a butt fuck

Lots of good and bad points here...

I rekon a lot of people slate them because they can't afford one

Few other cars in the price bracket but i won't be driving one till the weekend so i'll have to see then hey.

Fabia VRS is still on the top of my list though

Don't think they are as quick are they Dave? Only a 1.8, I have driven one of them. I was well impressed when Vtec 'kicked in' but I was 17 and it was the fastest car I had driven. Drove one again not long ago and was unimpressed.

Leon Cupra R would be nice but rare and still pricey

Need half decent MPG too so an NA or diesel car would be better.

Thing is though the Focus RS is a lot more to insure too! And they get slated left right and centre if there not set up properley.

Thats what I don't understand, why are ITR's and S200's the dogs bollocks? But a CTR with the same engine is pointless and has no Torque?

I think that's probably to do with the ITR being rarer (due to them not being sold officially in the UK) and the S2000 is RWD, which makes it better.

Personally, I'd not have a CTR, because I don't like the look fo them, but I've never driven one, so my statement on the previous page is irrelevant. however... I was trying to do what the thread title says

I do like the ITR's, don't like the S2000's and i'm not sure on the CTR. But look back 2 people have posted pics of ITR's recently and eveyrone got the horn, if it was a CTR everyone would have been out with the 'have fun getting up hills' etc etc.....

Just don't see how they can all be so different, probably just the bandwagon effect.
