XSi's are cool. if you can find one at the time you're looking, which isn't crusty and overpriced.

In my experienced opionion...
My old AXGT was awsome
I've driven a 172 clio and it stuck to the road like it was fuking glued to it! Felt like it was on 1 wheel but it still felt like it could go more.

Didn't forget, just didn't know! My bad. Coincidentally sent my bro to VAGweb tonight lol.
I reckon a 205 is hard to beat for a budget/standard trackday FWD. Although IMO they don't respond well to having money thrown at them, so if you plan to develop/mod it i'd go for something else.

Lift off oversteer is dangerous if you don't know what your doing in the French cars, they are unpredictble.

yeah, you're hooning it about round a corner, take your foot off the throttle, the weight shifts, the back steps out, and that's your lift off oversteer for you.

205 was prone to it.... but it was useful on some corners to be honest
Boot it into corner, lift off, wait till the car is pointing in the right direction, go

Tbh Nic laughs at everything you say but you think its funny as you are a brown noser But keeping with the thread, I'd say 205 GTi 1.9 and get a 1.6 gearbox.
