another question, at the age of 18, how have you driven so many different cars? at 18, nobody would let me test drive expensive cars, yet you seem to have driven everything and have an opinion on each and every make of car ever posted on here. how is this so?

ps, no offence, just wondering how your 1 year of driving experience can let you comment on what good cars are and the differences.

Well considering i have friends with both a DC2 and a DC5 this is how i have driven them, tbh how i get test drives in these cars is up to me, i have driven a few alfa romeo's aswell if thats any interest to you, i have driven a fair few cars yes. I even have all the paper work from the garage that let me drive the DC5 too if you want me to look at it with all the finance stuff!

CTR's are good cars, just need to be revved. But tell me any 200bhp NA engine that doesn't require revving..

Everyone moans about needing to be in Vtec range, but then if your happy changing gear at 2000rpm all the time, go buy a diesel.

Not the best handling car, not the most stylish, but a good engine on it and a great gearbox.

Frankly, if someoen said, "heres a free CTR" im not going to turn it down... Its just getting on a bit compared to the other newer hot hatches.

Plus turbo conversions rock on all 4 pot Honda engines.

Still rather the VXR, but a standard CTR pulls slightly on my corsa (for now )

possibly becasue they are slow, dull performance, poor interior, the nosie is just annoying that they make, they look terrible, they have the same ride height as a renault scenic, theyre very over rated, shouldnt be considered a performance car, and for the money there are 40,000 better cars to buy, including some made by kia

possibly becasue they are slow -Quicker than my XE Corsa? 140mph? Not slow for a production NA 2.0 engine.
Dull performance - Keep it in the right range. Its only a 4 pot NA remember..
Poor interior - Not to my taste either
The nosie is just annoying that they make -Matter of opinion.
they look terrible - Matter of opinion
They have the same ride height as a renault scenic - Maybe, but still would out handle many cars.
theyre very over rated - Matter of opinion
shouldnt be considered a performance car - Were they ever? I just thought it was a hot hatch???
and for the money there are 40,000 better cars to buy, including some made by kia - Matter of opinion when buying a new car in the same CLASS.?

i find nothing about honda engines particularly special, the lack of tourque compared to bhp isnt special, theyre not special looking and are particularly wank to drive in general

The look special to me , they go special to me and in Japan they win more prizes in the 2.0 Catagory than any other engine. They are far better than any vauxhal engine.

Infact there cars are far better than anything that vauxha has produced.

DC2 - Excelent
DC5 - Excelent
Del Sol - Excelent
S2000 - Excelent
NSX - Excelent

Yeah i forgot the EK9 and CRX

Again both excelent cars!

Makes me laugh people that go oooh you have to rev the tits off them ,

How many people drive around between 1k-3k revs..... old people! how many young people do???

If im not in VTEC im at about 4.5K anyway so i have 1K of revs to go till im in it and im away? if i wanted i could fit a controller and lower the VTEC engagement to 3.5K??

90% of people on here have never driven a VTEC car and (yet 90% say they have)

ive driven both NA and Turbo RWD and id say there aint much difference.

I think for alot of people (myself included) driving something that rev's really high increases excitement, fair enough deisels have got loads of torque but it's so dull getting that hit of power for what seems like 1 second then changing gear, you might be going fast but it doesn't feel as good.

I personally love high revving cars

I know, Motorbike owners must hate the noise there bikes make at 16K revs, must really annoy them that they have to rev it that high to get power hey

MY RX reved nearlly as high as my S2K didnt bother me then.
