I actually think it looked Awesome when it was first unveiled! The interior was really well done. Shame that engine wasn't in a lightweight track Astra though.

That bit is true, the interior was un real, but the look of the car was awful, even in my max power days i could never understand why you'd want to make a show car that you couldn't actually drive!!!

because thats exactly what it is, a show car to show off their talent, it was made so well, full metal kit no fiberglass or anything.
yea it was extreme and prob didnt move but i think it was a good show car.
interior was unreal.
its a show car end of. engine was too good to waste but then you al laugh if it had a standard 1.8 16v init.

I have to say i love that car, i think it was stunning.
the reg plate was on Fleebay last week "WIDE V6" as i was tempted to buy it

Story was it had a elec fire which was down the wiring on the car and the ICE system as they where trying to sue the person who did it (think it was carisma) until they asked for a full inspection, they they soon dropped the law suit. The car was also only insured when it was on the trailer (funny how it catches fire then on trailer) and was insured for £150,000. Jet and his boys have done it a few times so i have heard from people in the trade, did it with there Astra Mk3 which was one 20's, bump it or somthing would happen to it, claim money and restyle the full car.

Carisma done the interior
Carisma done the Audio
Fulfords done the bodywork (Used to be used by Carisma for the bodywork till Jamie went all poncy....).
Regal Done the engine...

So what DID Calibre Coachworks do?

Put it on a trailor, insure it for loads, then set fire to it......

I've heard so many "dodgy" stories about that bloke. IMO, the company is a front for much larger things..... You ever seen the bloke, dodgy pikey indian is all i can describe him as... I saw his Cousin or whatever have a feature on some car, just as pikey/dodgy as that Jet bloke.....

As for Project Slam, was a totally different cutom kit....

It sat in Carismas workshop for a good year doing nothing. I remember the ginger cu*t (No offence gingies, just a personnall issue with Mr Cu*t Shaw) whinging about them not ever coming to collect it.

Sat inside it, reminded me of one of the Coast Arcade machines that you sit in. Swival round chairs etc (well, practically lift out, turn around, slide back down again). Stearing wheels all bolted in etc... It did look cool inside

Top blakc things are speakers
Small rectangle things are small monitors
Large black thing in the middle is 1 big TV.

Long story, ask one of the others..... But no, i don't, and don't even live in Essex.

Fulfords is a great bodyshop though. Small, but does very good workmanship.

Whys that, he gonna "do me over"... Would kinda prove my point really...

Would be his style... I've met him at PVS. Its not like he "keeps in the crowd" or anything is it Its not like he would admit to any dodgy dealings either is it.....

I say what i see. If he were white i'd call him a pikey, its just there isn't a term for it for dodgy indians yet....

Its the comment in general whether it be to him or somebody else. You only know him from a business point of view, and not a good one at that if you've only ever met him at a show.

Anyway a pikey is a term for somebody who has no fixed address and lives in a caravan, not somebody who owns their own business, numerous vehicles and multiple houses. Maybe your closer to being a pikey?

I remember looking at that car at PVS 04, thinking how amazing it looked. TBF, it still would look good today, compared to some of the tat people pass off as modified.
