20 mph, you lost control.. going over a mini roundabout? .......
first of all, cars are normally using those things for navigating to other roads, so 20mph is abit much, as you seem to have noticed, secondly, pedestrians normally use the reservations to cross at near mini roundabouts, to save themself from diving through a 3 way route of cars going OVER a roundabout at 20mph.
ffs it was 6.30 in the morning, completely open junction, you can see 360 degrees, so i can't see why 20mph is to fast.

20 mph going over a roundabout, lost the backend? Crashed? You were nailing it, or you were still drunk from the night before.

i found out it's capabilities in the wet 2 days before which is why i was being careful. it's dark outside and raining. will get pics tomorrow, when i got out of the car i thought i had written it off, expecting to see the front end caved in i was fortunate that everything was still intact, just needs filling / spraying.

Were there any CTRs nearby? It could have been a VTEC related disaster.

Has it not been written off before anyway?
Musta been properly repaired if its held up well.
If the power of the Pugly is too much you might be better going back to a 1.2 Corsa - more predictable :-D

not to my knowledge.
and it's not written off now.
i've never had a 1.2 corsa and i'm sure the power isn't too much as i used to have a 200bhp 1.8 turbo.
have you never had a crash?

No mechanical damage then? :O

was really annoyed that not one bodyshop was even interested in seeing the car!!! was on the 29/12
They were probably just trying to get rid of their backlog for the new year, I mean most bodyshops are generally busy all year round due to their dealership and insurance trade etc as well as modified cars/private jobs etc, or a least the one I use is. So if I were you I'd try again and say something along the lines of "spoke to you last week about sorting out the damage to my car but unfortunately you were busy, so was wondering about possibly popping down to get a quote for the repairs and talk about booking it in with you"

Yeah i know, i just want it fixed asap as i'm driving a 1.6 seat cordoba!!!!
I expected there to be more damage, it's only cosmetical damage though. It needs a new n/s shock so i'm just gonna get them fitted too. I want to go a tad lower than 40mil now though!! I think Bilstein do a 50mil kit, where do you buy just the front suspension?? Will the usual Demon Tweeks or Euro Car Parts sell me just the 2 front shocks and springs???

on the boot???
I'm gonna get the quote then see how much more it is to do that!!
I'm looking on the bright side as i know it'll look even better once it's fixed as the font bumper had a crack in it anyway, plus it needed a new shock so that'll get done as well!!
