Id say the 1.8 is a definate!
Pretty confident bout the 1.2 as well

Mine are at the mo, Ive got low comp pistons, steel rods, oil injectors, and LSD and paddle clutch going in within next month or so.

mk4 astra 1.8's are 8.5 to 60 if they have the close ratio gear box.

I own a 1.8 sri and think the z18xe is a great engine. I am currently developing a throttle body conversion for it.

who did the mapping for you?

would be good to get it on some proper management and get it mapped properly. much more important than anything else imo.

well if you were doing it for cost (which I am sure the owner isnt) then a z20let would have been a better option.

anyway IMO managment is one of the most important aspects of modding engines, especially when dealing with turbo conversions, if you get a slight problem and it starts running lean its bye bye engine. I am sure there are also good gains to be made from adding some decent management and mapping to that spec. especially if more mode are to come....

Dibilas reckon their software is fine for around 350bhp and are aware that my car is getting all the internals done and boost is being turned up etc plus NOS.
I was thinking about omex management but dont wanna loose any creature comforts in the car!
