Sorry Jambo
I will admire it on my walk to the station.....
Would rather see that castle looking place in your pic though there's only so much looking at parliament you can take in two years!

I live under a mile away from work but I drive which takes a few mins (cos i dont get up in time to walk). I dont even get through a whole song on my cd player
Walking takes just under 10 mins (in flat shoes) and a bit longer with heels.

Usually - 30-45 minutes, door to door. Traffic permitting.
Currently sometimes over an hour due to poncy roadworks on the A2. Another 1.5 years left, joy...
NW Kent to Central London, 27 miles.
God bless motorcycles.
(train total would take about 2 hours).

Harsh, and you do see accidents, and it does knock your confidence.
But people die in car accidents, dont be afraid of death, just ride as safe as possible and be aware at all times.
Seriously fella, re-consider it. Come summertime when the suns out, your leathers on, traffic is busy, you go and find some nice back roads to come home on and just enjoy your journey to and from work. Its great (just not at the moment )
30 min, yeah about right, at a fast walk it was 10-15 mins from mothers. And i guess u'd need to walk through the woods every day as well to make the short cut Wellies???
Pushbike downhill to the station?
