i was walkin threw town earlier and i think if i jumped up i would of got blown backwards lol. its quite funny watchin people with umbrellas in the wind lol.

I was gettin in my car before outside my work and a big 8ft fibreglass skylight came heading right towards me, I managed to just get in the car before it smashed into the side of my car drivers door is all scratched!!

Wasn't a tree actually, it was a wall. It's on the BBC website.

It's fucking crazy here! Every single fence has come down and the 307 has just been hit by a slate Small chip on the boot but the back window has a nice big chip in it

The slates have come off the roof and the guy above me is out and i can here bang bang bang upstairs from his flat. I feel it for him when he come in!

My little shed at the back is holding up though Thought thay would have gone first.

ive just driven 15 miles, on the way we saw no less than 17 downed trees, one collapsed roof, a lorry on its side and a lorry in the central reservation

to top it off, the police have cordoned off all of Ormskirk town centre (50 yards from my office) and theres loads of sirens heading down there

Well we have lorries parked up here, and coming in and out all day, and run the transport for the company and all of ours are fine
