They planned on putting a 106gti in, even the amazing processing and graphics power of the 360 couldn't handle the physics or draw the frames fast enough to accurately represent just how fast it is.
(I aplogise, i didn't realise how crap that was until I posted it, I blame it on the tiredness)

its just them driving it, with the behind cam, then you can rotate the cam with one of the sticks, thats what those shots are of, so fully in game
