these ones are slightly illegal aswell but iirc they can only give you an advisory for them and they cant force you to remove them

They look a smoked tint all round to me Yeah, thats one reason I would love tints, especially when a van is behind you and your in a lowered corsa, there just at the right height to shine straight into your rear-view

Jill, 70% would be illegal then.

Mine are legal- not exactly sure of the percentage but 70% rings a bell
Just for the record my tints ARE LEGAL I have been stopped by the police (for having a tailight out) and they checked my windows then. And if you actually read what I wrote then you'd see that I said I was "not exactly sure of the percentage" I just hazarded a guess at 70% off the top of my head (I mean I got them done when RTech first opened so I'm lucky I was only 5% out ) and just to clear this up even further I have just phoned up RTech to confirm the legality of my tints and that it is 75% on my windows.
Thanks
JILL

I'm sorry but they used the light meter thing through my windows, so clearly not. If you are going on the picture I posted they do look a tiny tad dark but they are clearly legal.
But you're entitled to your opinion I respect that

50% front 2, Limo rear 3.
i like my privacy front's are supposedly illegal but never been pulled for them and you can still see the person easily so should be ok, fingers crossed lol.

70% is the legal limit on front windows, you will notice that it should say this on your window if you look at the writing on the glass that is opposite the door pins. therefore jill's is legal, saying that if you get stopped for anything between 50%-70% you are unluckly, its very hard to tell, especially if the rear windows are even darker

just look at mine, can barely see the tint on the front during the day with all the light coming in through the front window but at night in dark places i just undo the windows and apparently the police can't legally force you to do your windows up to check them? not sure how true this statement is, would like to know.
