It doesn't look as bad as it was tbh, it looks like nicotine stains

I've got one of my feet somewhere, I had been spraying on fake tan and standing on the wooden floor. You should have seen the soles of my feet the next day

Oooooh Nooooooo!!!

BT have just confirmed that the line concerned is attatched to a modem at work, and that the PC has been dialing to another Council PC every few seconds since the 23rd November thus resulting in the LARGE bill

Now how do we get out of this one. The council are ALWAYS on about conserving energy and to make sure everything is switched off when not in use Oh god I'm sooooo dead

I haven't got a clue anymore what they've got, I honestly think it must be some sort of fault. But the big problem for me is they are going to find out that we never bother to switch them off

If its BT Business Broadband you have on the lowest package then:

It has a fixed 10GB monthly usage

1. What are usage allowances?
All Option 1 products come with an inclusive 10GB monthly usage allowance. This figure is the amount of data you can download or upload (data sent to and from the Internet) each month.
Data sent between your computer and the Internet is measured in Kilobytes (KB), Megabytes (MB) and Gigabytes (GB). 1GB = 1024MB, 1MB = 1024KB.

2. Usage 10GB monthly usage allowance – suitable for the majority of Business users
Don't worry if you occasionally go over the monthly allowance. A small excess charge will appear on your next bill.

3. Why has BT introduced monthly usage allowances?
Our new product structure will make it easier for customers to choose the right product for their needs, according to the amount they actually use the Internet. Therefore relatively low Internet users can still enjoy super fast Internet for a low monthly price.

4. What happens if I exceed my monthly usage allowance?
In the event that you exceed your 10Gb monthly usage there will be no loss of service and monthly charges will be applied automatically, as follows:
£4 for 1- 3 Gb additional usage,

£8 for 4 to 6 Gb additional usage,

£12 for over 6 Gb additional usage.

If you use more than 6 Gb of additional usage every month you may want to consider moving to our unlimited Business option 2 service which is £29.99 per month with no limit on usage.

5. How will I know I have exceeded my monthly usage allowance?
If you exceed your allowance in any 2 months we will send a written letter to your billing address advising you of the fact and advising you of the charges you will be liable for, that you need to review your usage patterns, upgrade or in extreme circumstances that we will be serving notice if you do not upgrade or change your usage significantly.

6. Does the monthly usage allowance apply to upstream and downstream capacity?
Yes, the usage allowances refer to the total amount of data that you send to and receive from the Internet.

If its left on all the time you have deffo exceeded that.............however BT is meant to contact you after 2 months of exceeding your package limitations to advise you to upgrade!!

If you were on the other package then its unlimited & shouldnt matter how long its on for!!

it will be business broadband which will be unlimited seems there are so many users on it normally.

I also doubt they'll be able to track it down to one certain computer.

How can this happen tho? The modem has been constantly dialling up another modem somewhere in the Council since 23rd November. We've had IT out at the PC a few times, could it be something they have done by mistake that has caused this?

Colin its Isa we're talking about here, do you really expect her to have a fecking clue about broadband packages :lo:
