I'm working on a full list of participants to make this easier to match/check on the day.

The remaining 10 places will be given on a first come first pay basis. New interestes will be put on a reserve list untill they pay. When they pay, they will be swapped out with the oldest non-payer.

Just a quick post to remind you about the trackday and to go over some points of interest for the day.


Saturday the 28th April 2007

100 – Sign On
10-30-110 – Session Begins
150 – Session Ends

Sessions will be of 10 cars out first then after 2 or 3 sessions open pit lane with no more than 10 on at a time until we see how it’s going. The day needs to end at 3pm so Crail can re-organise for the Banzai day on the 29th.

Lunch – Bring some food with you. I doubt there would be enough of us for a burger van. I’ll speak to Willie about it and keep you updated.

I will provide Willie/Crail with a list of participant’s names/cars to make it easy for them to check you off when you pay the remaining £17.50. You will then be given a wrist band, which will be checked before getting on track.

Have a look at this list. If I’ve missed anything, or simply got it wrong please let me know ASAP.

As you’ll notice there are a lot of fairly quick cars attending! Don’t let this put you off or intimidate you! The Crail track is quite short and twisty so favours smaller lighter cars.

Safety:

Helmets are optional. If you have one, wear it! No helmets will be available for hire on the day. Bring your driving licence on the day. I’ve never had to produce it at crail but better to cover it just incase they ask. They normally give the car a quick once over before allowing it on track, so make sure everything is secure/safe. Bring spare fuel if you can as it’s a pain heading away from the track to try and find a station!

Basically just start slow to find your own pace, and have fun!

Here is the altered line up for the day.... 2 pulled out, 2 buggies paying on the day.

We will pay a £20 deposit for Charlie on the day, you need to pay £15 on the day.
We will pay a £17.50 deposit for Duncan on the day, you need to pay £17.50 on the day.

These were deposits that arrived late.

All other deposits have been received by Crail, and the remaining £17.50 is payable on the day.
