awww already looking at them from regal but they too pricey like... the software bumps it up sooo much like!?!?! i want them to have a sale!
wud be well happy to round the car up at like 120bhp rather than 88!:O

U'll need ALOT of work to get a 1.4 16v to 120bhp.

i know but with like at a push getting the 1.4 to 100 plus is gud anywhere over there like...cud decat...4-2-1 and run unrestriction air box and such i guess...top end and cams n stuff but talking alot of money for me...just ideas...cant really yack my 1.4 lump out with 55k being fully seviced all its life and in top nick like

Correct, its hard work squeezing the power from the 1.4 16v. Ask Matt Crowther or Jr, although Jr's was fast as fap

The Mantzels are available still, although some people say they are not. Do a search for Mantzel by 5schaap2k, and theres some details there. They are about £500. The Dbilas is around £460. Copies are available on e-bay.

your's should be over 100bhp with a Dbilas inlet.

so that bumps it upto £740 which to me is the price of an old renault 5 turbo that will destroy 1.4/1.6's and gsi lumps...

tuning low powered NA lumps is costly and not effective unless your doing big mods!

Yes, but the time you've replace the headgasket everytime u've used boost, this is the cheap option.

from people i have spoken to the dbilas is the best powerbox option.

Sly_sri (bought by rob_b) had a high milage 1.6 with a dbilas powerbox, get hold of either for advice, i know sly was always happy with it.
