Turboing the 1.6 is too much work. I looked into this couple of weeks ago.

It has been off the road for over a year, it was covered in dirt, full of rubbish and rats had made a nest in one of the wheel arches...Damn shame.. But it's safe and happy now!!

nice motor mate, good find, and its a 'Griffin badge' not a lion and you'll probably hate me for saying this but i quite like that bonnet/hood, certainyl different

and whoa it has a few problems........

.. a crack in the cross member and engine mounts need to be

ahh its not that bad. Im sure you can put it all straight. that certainly is a nice GSI. lovong the roof though looks great. just lose the bonnet and get it looking nice n standard. cant believe the paint is still red with the sun over there!
