yeah mate it was the clocks thats why i would say to borrow someones clocks mate i was lucky and nicked my father inlaws for a bit plugged them in worked straight away

will clocks that have a rev counter work on a car without rev counter? i no the rev counter wont work but will the speedo still work?

i had exactly the same problem 2 days ago
wear everything else works accept speedo, it workin now, not done it once since.

Happened too my mate about a week ago, he took it too vauxhall and a cable had snapped, £40 too replace

hmm its been like this on my car for 2 weeks so i dont think its going to go away. i will have to try n source some clocks

electric they are mate and the sport ones i borrowed had a rev counter where mine didnt the revs didnt read right but its fine to check your clocks with if thats all you got mate cause i would

New Clocks arrived just now, swapped them over my petrol gauge now works but goes up and down when goin around corners etc. But still no speedo. Anyone got anymore ideas?

my other corsa was a p reg and had electronic speedo clocks

was also originally a 1.2 8v but rear of clocks looked nothing like the ones in the above picture. i ended up using tigra ones as they are electronic 0-140mph and 0-7k rev counter. not sure if they would help you though and there fairly pricey

hmm. it couldnt be two sets of clocks though could it?

Could it be the transducer or summet?
