Never be the same if its repaired, best of sticking the LET in another shell

buy it back, either split it or transfer bits over to another shell & then sell/scrap whats left

tbh repairing that may come to about £800 - £1200 if you know a few people...

yeah insurance will quote like-for-like on new parts at stupidly inflated prices IMO

all you need (new) is inner wing, slam panel, lower cross member...

rest can be 2nd hand from scrappers (bonnet, wing, bumper, crash bar...)

tbh I'd doubt the chassis rail would be bent, and if it is it won't be by much so will be able to be jigged.

I've seen far worse with very little structural damage, its mainly just cosmetic

Noooo looked like a lovely Corsa. Was this at PVS?

Check the pics in my garage of my crash. Looks very similar and MY insurance company didn't write it off. £1800 worth of damage, my £350 excess saved it, meaning the insurance company only payed £1400.

That price was with genuine new GM parts. If you bought it back and used used parts, I'm sure it'd be cheaper.

Good luck, there is hope

but you car was pretty much standard. Mine wasnt at PVS, but currently i dont have 2 pay a bean as the other insurence company is paying for everything.

I know. They replaced mine with standard grill and standard headlights.

I can't see how yours, in the crash, is different to mine, if you get my drift?

All I mean, the similar amount of damage at what it looks like, things might not be so bad.

feel gutted for you mate, some knob head prick in a white mercedes van pulled out into the side of me on saturday, i'm still waiting for them to tell me it's a write off but in my heart i know it is, whole passenger side would need to be fixed + sprayed and suspension/leg has been pushed back and theres big panel gaps on the drivers side i feel empty and so annoyed at the twat as he wasn't looking and just pulled out.

totally untrue altho obviously that depends on the quality of the repair.

safer to buy an undamaged shell altho. the most shite repairs can look ok
