TBH, you'd be better off using a C20LET.

The 2.2 is a GREAT engine, but it's still expensive to tune.

There's supercharger kits (~£5k fitted), Throttle body kits (about the same), and turbo bits are available from the USA, but there's not many people who have them here (if anyone)

It doesn't go straight in a Corsa either, needs quite a bit of work, so don't expect change from £5k, for a bog standard, 145bhp engine.

no, sold that thing 2 weeks ago. was having too many problems with it. Id be looking to spend 3k maybe. would that cover me for engine and parts?

thats the sorta thing i was needing to hear mate. Think i'll stick with the C20LET. Have a bit of fun with one of them. Id really like mark106mark's silver turbo corsa but he aint selling it.

could use 2.2 bottom end from frontera but block is taller and im not sure if the stroke will affect its willingness to rev as well really.

lad i know from has used a 2.4 bottom end from a forklift iirc in his astra cab turbo and he saw no gains from it whatsoever i dont think even with nitrous his old 2ltr turbo was quicker

just import a 2.2 supercharged engine from here in the states.

give it some decent ron fuel and with our slightly more lax emission laws im sure it will bring another 10bhp out without such a restrictive CAT or whatever is used to bring the emissions down
