May be, just may be, he doesn't smoke nor allows anyone to smoke in his car?
Quite a good security feature though, shame you posted on the net for all 6 billion people to see

I had one on the RX7. It was easier than trying to turn the key for ages when it wouldn't start

why
had a vx220 2.2 in for a service, oil filter is stuck under the inlet manifold. had to strip out the airbox and coolant bottle to get enough room to get a ba onto it, was done up so tight that we needed 2 people and a 24" bar on it to undo it. changed the filter (paper canister type) and put it back together, fitted undertray and started it up. it the pissed 5 litres of oil back out onto the floor
turns out that the filter housing seals are shagged, they are common for needing changing when disturbed, so I think 'thats not too bad, oil filter seals will be a service item'.....
like fuck they are, 4 days wait for an oil filter housing seal so I now have a vx220 taking up space for 4 days waiting for a stupid flimsy seal that costs 75p. and I still need to look forward to fitting an airbox thats bigger than the engine into a space thats smaller than a shoe box
