Hopefully you mean alot unless you give it death . Currently out of my 1.7 i can get 56mpg with the air con on. If its still something like that after a tuning box (i dont mind losing a few mpg) then i wont be complaining .

By the sounds of it they are a pain to fit then? I searched diesel tuning uk on google and just got a load of random diesel tuning sites by the looks of it .

I've got a tuning box on my 1.9pd tdi and don't have anywhere near a 50 bhp gain, i'd be questioning that as well.

My trip computer also reports over 50mpg when it used to be below 40, it's lying.

I've heard of 50bhp gains on the 1.9 CDTis from a few placs and theres been a number of them on RRs

As for mpg, i always use the good old pump against trip milage for working it out, im not posh enough to have a trip computer .

The DTUK Greenbox acually improves your MPG unles you give it death everywhere. The 50bhp gains are proven on the rollers....the vaux 1.9CDTI 150 is very tunable and seems to get the best gains.

Thats what i thought, but the figures are too low for top speed. They claim 175kph/108mph standard, but the rated top speed for the car as standard is 117mph.
