I had a 1.4 rt as a runabout and it was a great car.

Dont rush into buying the first one.Buy one thats sound where everything works,no leaks and no rust.

Not very quick but handle well on 3 wheels.

On mine i lowered it 55mm,decat with full stainless,phase 2 16v wheels,full 16v leather.

Shortie, the interior looks lush, set you back much?

Are 1.4RT's single point?

I actually LOVE your old one, looks much, much nicer than mine.

How much are 1.4RT's worth now? Really looking into getting one, just checking insurance now.

Seen a prime example of the arches rotting, a white one around here. Only seen it from a distance, but its clear the arches are just totally fucked

Took a good look at the clio I seen today. Perfect example of a rotbag, all 4 arches buggered, leaky sunroof, and its an auto.

Och well, if i ever get a MK1, it il be there for bits

i had a Valver headgaskets can be a problem, only becuase the engine temp is always up and down. get a switched fan and you can cure this.

mine was black, lowered, 15s with toyo proxe's and would out handle most of the hatches. would go on three wheels also

imo valvers are well worth the money these days. you can get a decent low milage good condition valver for under 1K
