Looks like a really good place to stay! Been looking around on the net for the last hour or so, and it seems really reasonable!

Anybody else been, what did you do, where did you go etc?

I was hoping to go next year. Anybody know the best time of year to go to guarantee good weather?

Was planning the EXACT same thing for the 28th coming back the 4th i think. Get to be there over new years, would be amazing to see.

Some advice i got from someone was to make sure the hotel has a late check in time, because at that time of the year, they will give away youre hotel room if youre not lucky!!
So just email the hotel with youre flight info, and an estimated time of arrival at the hotel.

Just wondering, for £375, where were youre flights from??

Can't remember the name of the place I stayed in last time, but it had LCD tvs, couple of restaurants and a gym etc too, was 5-8 min walk from Times Square, was a 3 star.
I looked on Expedia

Found it http://www.parkcentralny.com/index.cfm

TBH it's not worth splashing mega bucks on a hotel as you will be all the go from early in the morning til late at night and you only need to sleep at the hotel.

Andy what was location like for that one?

1,162.63 GBP for 7 nights, say £600 each, not bad

One of the cheapest i've been on so far!

It's not a bad hotel for the money.
I think it's about 3 blocks from Central Park & 5-10 min walk to Times Square.
I've been 3 times & you're never in the hotel long as you're always out exploring
