always a million and one hings you can do, its about finding them and enjoying them.
Something that you can cool down on.
When i was reay stressed out fromwrk, i was going to buy some fish for my room to justsit and watch - sounds very bizzare, but i know it works for me and iwould have just chilled out

Dunno mate, listen to some music, watch a film, invite a mate or 2 round for a bit, something like that.
No-one ever said what things to do, just 'keep busy' which is really useful
I've had the same advice in the past mate.
The 'keeping busy' comment is purely and simply to do something to take your mind off what is worrying you (if you are worried/anxious/depressed)
If you are depressed the best thing to do is get some exercise/get to the gym. Being inactive usually results in mild agrophobia and the subsequent 'depression'
I've got to say, IME 'depression' means 'feeling sorry for yourself'

music is power.
honestly, listening to music, making music, playing music....all helps. its a way of life.
i play guitar, drums, piano, bass.......everything really. i suppose i have a passion for it, but it keeps me from ever being bored.
teach yourself something if your down and lonely. pick up a semi-decent acoustic for £69 or summit.
also what about gym, or running. always helps me calm down when i get stressed. put all the effort into it. or any sport really. golf was always good to clear the head aswell.
put your mind to it and theres wads of things you can do from keeping bored and lonely

They're linked.
Being bored means you have more time to think about the bad stuff, so you get more depressed, which is why you need to keep busy.
I've been there, sitting around doing nothing at all means that sometimes you think too much. If you stay busy, you don't.
I know it's different for you as there's less stuff you can do, but I'm sure there's something
I think Gaz was asking a serious question too, suggesting something to keep you busy?

Watch Car Wars/Traffic Cops on Youtube, buy a Powerball and try to beat your high score or even buy some canvases and paints and make a fucking great picture of something cool.
Works for me

I know what you mean there. I've had a few moments over the last few weeks where I've had far too much time on my hands and a few people said keep busy. I just didn't know what to do tho, I've not really got any particularly close mates were I could just nip round to see them, I have to text them and see if they're up for doing something, but everyone was busy. So I had loads of free time and nothing to do with it, just kept getting more an more wound up and feeling worse. It's pretty much sorted itself now, but the past few weeks have been shit at times. Thanks to the people off here who gave advice aswell, most of it was much appreciated, and as I said I've sorted my head out now and I'm just seeing how things go.
Sorry this wasn't really much help Pow.

im in the same state, big money worries as ive got myself in debt quite badly...I confessed this to my mum tonight as i havent been able to pay my rent for 3weeks now. She now has all my bank cards, sat down with me and my bank statements to work out where i can save money. The hard thing is, iv got to live on £30 a week of my wages for a while. Confession is the first step to putting things right though so its a bit off my mind. Also having shit time at work, they are putting off giving me a payrise as much as possible and im still on aprentice wage! POW if you wana chat bud just catch me on msn

Mate... you really should go in when you're supposed to, and get back from personal errands on time, or at least before the place closes lol
