They have changed th epolicy on the account i am with and can only put money in machine way weird.
They wont want you to have a credit card, as bank (debit) cards are totally different to credit cards, and seperate to your bank account normally.
They'll just want to up you from a Solo card (16 and under normally) upto a switch/maestro card probably, which makes zero difference to how your bank account works.
