the electrical installation one would be a logical choice as i have allready done a year at college doing this an there will always be a need for electricians but i wouldnt mind doing mechanics.

what electrician course did you do? The 2330 level 2? I did that last year and now iv gone onto a national certificate in mechanical engineering and im hoping to get into somewhere as it the highest qualification before uni

I have been working with my cousin this week wko is a carpenter which is what i want to be in the end, going to collge next year but anyway
im on 40-50 quid a day doing labouring for time
his on 160-170 quid a day, in two days his only fitting a small floor and dine some studding work
thts the money there!

I started when I was 18 , and had a 39 year old in my class too.
So age isnt a big problem but may be a struggle

I applied for an apprenticeship as a plumber after spending two years at college and a year at Uni doing BSC Exercise & Health. Realised there was no money in it and now I've an apprenticeship as a Building Services Engineer.

think i am going to go for electrics as i have allready dont a year at college for it so is the more likley choice really. whish i could have found one before the schools left but will jus have to look at one in a couple of months now

im going into joinery soon, bit late at nearly 22 (kinda) but money in the long run will be good, mates self employed my age and on £150 per day so sounds alright to me lol
