Susuki gsx600 f, brilliant bike to learn on, abit sporty but not like the sports bike and you don't have to give it alot like you would on the 400, i'm not sure on other bikes as i only rode the gsx f 600, was comfy, nice power, smooth. And you can pick them up for just over a £1000.

Yup, its another bike i'd suggest.

Basically, its a de-tuned toned down GSXR.

I think people only think of bikes, they think Ducati, R1s, R6, GSXR, CBR...

These bikes are mass produced and the normal.

Heres a post i put on mig yesterday... Heres some stunning machines.... Bikes i aspire to own one day.

Go all the way to the bottom of the page too..

My mates first bike was some Yamaha 125cc crosser which he spanked after 2 months. Another mate got a GSX600 for his first bike and has been riding it every day for a year and never spanked.

Go figure.

135mph odd. Its plenty i can assure you.

Past 130 things seem to go a lot more quickly.

mate had a de-restricted rs125 which i had a go of and nearly shit myself when a realised the power that had over my at the time cbr125. he has since passed his test and now has an r6. he has had it a year has never came off, doesnt ride like a bell end all the time. when its really wet or window or just shit weather i take him to work so he doesnt need to use it. so dont tell me you cant go from a rs125 to a r6 or similar if your a good sensible rider. on the other hand, my brothers mate just passed his test doing lessons before he owned a bike, he bought a brand new gsxr 600 about 2 month back, needless to say it is now a write off.

personally vfr400 are sexy as fuck, mmmmm single swing arm and the sound is awesome, would probs pic this whatever bike i could get, even though bikes scare the shit out of me.
