Just got back from a good day out at Wembley, very pleased with the result - much more like it. I thought Israel were a very poor outfit, support was good though.
Richards/Wright Phillips were a breath of fresh air, pace, power, committing players. Heskey did his job well, won most things in the air although should have done better with one effort.
All in all, a good solid performance, we should be coming away with a bigger victory but this at least has bought smiles to faces. Looking forward to going back on Wednesday and I'm confident of another 3 points.
Finally I thought the reception Neville and Bentley got was disgusting. Not sure if it could be heard on the tv but there was a LOT of booing coming Neville's way. Not good enough.

Was certainly aimed at Neville because everytime he got the ball certain sections were booing. I think he's shit too but seems a bit daft to be slating someone who's representing our country.
I don't agree with what Bentley did either, and also agree he shouldn't be in the squad. However he is, so we should get behind him too. Fuck I'm even a Burnley fan I should hate him!

I thought Heskey played really well, maybe shut up a few doubters now.
I've said it before about Phil Neville, hes a very good player and does a lot more than people think.
As for Andrew Johnson, I still don't know why he gets in the squad. I think Richards will be putting Gary Nevilles starting position on the line though with a performance like that.

I agree with all of that Marc, Johnson was dog shit as was Cole. I rate G.Neville but I think Richards needs to keep his place now.

People should be selected on skill and current performance.
You've probably never watched him properly recently, I have and he's a quality player right now and should be on before SWP.
