i nearly hit my gf once, after a massive fight she kicked me full pelt in the nuts... man that hurt! raised fist as a natural reaction, but thats as far as i went. knew i couldnt hit her, so just shouted abuse 
another time, down the seafront, big fight with some college people, this gf of a guy we were fighting got out a cricket bat from her bfs boot and started wacking my mate with it! again, all he done was shout at her but he done well to control that situation imo!

Some girl in school thought it would be funny to kick me square in the pods for no reason other than a laugh in front of her mates. She didn't find it half as funny when I pushed her into a wall mounted fire extinguisher. I don't think she sat down for a week. Come to think of it neither did I
