Im assuming that all your cars are automatic then? you can't have cruise control on a manual? or can you?

of course you can have cruise control on a manual gearbox..

oh ok so does it alert you say if you were going up a steep hill for example you would need to gear down? surely the gearstick would not move itself?

wrighty, as I said - Thats a small issue that needs fixing first.

jmdsouth, i'm assuming that if the hill was that steep - my car would just stall

it doesn't drive the car for you

all it does is basically keep the throttle in the same place to keep to the same speed

yeh i realise that, im just saying a automatic could gear itself down where as a manual can't

How many motorways have hills so steep you'd need 4th gear at 70+ mph.

You wouldn't have it switched on with steep hills around as the chances are that the road wouldn't be straight.

This car could probably climb everest in 6th anyway
