winning 1 game will signal a league title win for you lads? even in October?

No, but winning against Arsenal will mean we arent 8 points behind them but only 2...so will give a good indication.

Is this not a prediction thread or am I being silly

I love the way manc fans think we won't be doing them any favours (i.e. not beating arsenal this weekend), we'll be doing ourself favours

Exactly, we've had our little blip in the league imo.

Plus anyone would think United were the ones still unbeaten in the league

the thing is, united havn't been playing well all season yet are still 2nd in league. now that we are starting to find some form we should pickup even more points. and im sure arsenal won't keep there form up all season

if you get what i mean

same goes for us, we'll only be a point behind you if we win the game in hand, so where is the difference in saying we'll win the league over you saying you'll win it

The fact we both mentioned Arsenal is because the difference in points between us and them should they win will be a fairly large amount, even this early in the season. Its also another fairly good judge as to how far we really have gone since last season.

Agreed, griding out results is important even if you aren't on top form but as cosmo says we are unbeaten which is a good indication of the strength of our team so far. You have one game in hand on us also and played chelsea at a lucky time imo.

And yeah, I mentioned our game vs arsenal as key as they are the benchmark SO FAR and you have seen the collection of points over the last few seasons and you can tell if a teams gonna be close already imo.

Tottenham for the win.

City are all about confidence at the moment, there's no denying they have some quality but it won't last all season I agree.
