I get about 300 miles out of a full tank, roughly £38.
I fill up 2, maybe 3 times a week

I need a diesel for work
Going by that I'd save about £40 a week, £180 a month

Worked out my mileage and fuel consumption over the past month - didn't know if this was good, bad or average...........
My 1.8T 20V Ibiza gets more than that around town
I get around 31-32 MPG, if I use my heavy right foot then around 28 MPG.

Same here, driving around London too so stop start all the time.
Only thing that puts me off having a work hack is having to maintain 2 vehicles, 2 sets of tax, 2 MOT's.
How old are you and what you paying on insurance?
