Rear fog lights on are probably my most hated thing. I thought the idea of rear fogs was to put them on to warn approaching cars behind that you are there. Then once they catch up to you and can see you I've always thought you should turn them off so as to not blind them?

Yet people drive round with the bastards on in clear conditions, never mind fog.

its the fog lights that annoy me!

everyone ha sthe impression tha "boy racers" are the ones with front fogs on but its always cars too big(/unstylish) to be own by a Boy Racer

but the one that really gets me is the tw*ts that sit at the lights/junction/roundabout with their foot on the brake dazzling those behind. how on earth do they expect to pull out of a junction with their foot on the brake?

I do that, I just normally move my foot from the brake to the accelerator though?

My blue symbol is yellow, I quite often forget to turn my main beam off because I glance at the dash and don't see blue

Easy

When the lights change/traffic is moving, take your foot off the brake, put it on the accelerator and lift the clutch up all at the same time.

Or, if you're in an auto, take your foot off the brake.

Hahaha I'm going to show my mum this thread, ppl doing that brings on the ulitmate road rage in her. She batters f*ck out the brake pedal banging them off and on to alert them, if that doesn't work she pulls in till they pass then sits up there arse with her full beam on I try to tell her 2 wrongs don't make a right but...........................

This is why I crashed into someone. I didn't react for the split second which meant my braking distance was reduced.

I was following a van with its rear fogs on once, so put the pedal to the metal and finally overtook about 5 minutes later, and put my fogs on for a while, then off. I then slowed down to an acceptable speed in my 12v, he overtook, and his fog lights were off

In BMW's, front fog lights aren't called fog lights, they're called driving lamps

Although full beams are very annoying, my pet hate is people WITHOUT any lights on, now it's getting dark at like 4pm. Or just side lights on, when they should have headlights on.

If there's street lights at the normal spacing, you don't need headlights when it's dark, only sidelights, legally.

Well I did not know that.

Supermarkets are the worst. Their lights in the car park are so bright, that you don't turn your lights on, then head out into the town and every fucker is flashing you. I've been known to do this, twice

I must admit I drive with the Escort's front fog lights on sometimes BUT this is because the normal lights on the car are.....best word........SHITE. If i put the front fogs on it actually means I can see

Surely not being able to see the dials is a bit of a warning.

No the reason why you crashed into somone was because you were following them too closely.

I know the feeling I spend most of my time blinded

Me and a mate were coming back to town on sunday and a women in a ka behind us had her full beams on. She then pulled up along side us at the lights so I wound down my window and informed her that she had her full beams on. She said "oh its so that i can see better in the dark" and drove off.

We were like all at the same time

On the way home from Trax, I overtook a Matiz in the slow lane pulled back in, and they had their full beam on. I couldn't see a thing throught my rear view mirror. Kept flashing my fogs, didn't turn em off, ended up getting sick of it, and sped up, overtook a few more cars and left em to it.

That was on a fully lit stretch of motorway, why would anyone need their full beam on?
