if you havent recieve a notice of intent to prosecution within 2weeks relax

2 weeks

ive been in this position recently if they dont charge you at the roadside they MUST send you a notice within 2weeks

if you are charged at the site of the road you then hae 6months to recieve a court date

Ahh righty, so we're both right. Courts 6 months, but 2 week if not cautioned about the offence at the roadside.

yes but in this lads case its 2weeks as i believe he wasnt cautioned or charged at the roadside?

Well they just said I would recieve something from fiscol about it in the next week or so, been 8 days so far!!!!!!

Also yeah Steve done it mate!

Btw steve do you work? You are on this constantley! I mean I am on it but not posting all the time! I just leave it on and have a look when I have a minute!

missus got done at the very end of a section of roadworks doing 56 in a temporary 30 on a dual carriageway [normally 70 limit] she got £150 fine and 5 points.

Annoying thing was the roadworks actually finished more than 2 miles before where she got done but the cones were still on the hard shoulder. She got done as she accelerated 100m or so before the end of roadworks/national speed limit zone
