I see what you're saying there. Twice in the last 6 months I've showed an interest in 2 girls, 1st was a straight up no, fair do's, moved on, second seemed like a maybe at first, then after a while it become apparent that she wasn't interested, but the amount of time I spent wondering if she was interested, if anything was gonna happen, then eventually trying to get over the fact that she wasn't interested, spent near enough 6 months feeling down, thinking about her, thinking about why she wasn't interested. Don't know if it would've been any better if I hadn't said anything tho.

I much prefered the straight up no.
