If they were going to do it, they'd have done it by now. If they looked, and saw nothing, why would it be a target in the future? You're over worrying IMO.

Just a bit puzzled really as the car has been in the area for the past 3 1/2 years (in my ownership) and its bound to have been noticed by local theifs because its modified and they tend to be more of a target due to desirable aftermarket parts. Its alarmed and imobilized, i could always remove the CD player every morning

If you take the front off, the player's useless anyway. If they wanted to nick the car, or break into it, they'd have done it.

i suppose you have a point. If they know where the car is at night though there is a very slim chance they would be sucessful though.

worth leaving the glovebox opne as well. The amount of people who leave their stereo face in the glovebox is untrue!

Take everything off show in the car. Including empty bottles and rubbish.
That way, the thief has to risk smashing windows, for no pay out at all.
Unless your glove box is lockable, it's likely your insurance won't pay out for your stereo cover, as the faceoff normally has to be out of the car or in somewhere secure.

Well, my dad was woken at 4:30 am this morning by a car acceletating away hard and our security light on on the drive. Dont know if its just coincidence or if my thoughts were right
There is a big BT building opposite where i park and i noticed some cctv cameras pointing towards the road today which put my mind at ease a bit. I also let workmate know that someone had been possibly snooping about
