Yeah it is. I was about 60ft under the Atlantic
That was taken just off the bow of a shipwreck in Lanzarote in July.

Been watching this on the news.
An expert said this wouldn't have been an error of judgement on the pilots part.
The wheels/landing gear/undercarriage would have been ripped off due to the soft ground/grass and weight or speed of the plane. A lack of the landing gear not coming out/being fixed wouldn't have caused it to fall short.
The only explanation at the moment to cause that, could be a sudden loss of power. Which could have been caused by a flock of birds, like swans BUT there is no evidence to suggest this.
Obviously a power failure of some sort.

If that pilot has killed any Swans then I fully expect the Queen to be having a stern word with him.

I'm totally the opposite, had no problems with Easyjet, every flight I've had here with BA has been cancelled.

There's more information on the news now. It appears that the plane lost power and needed gliding it. It is thought to be mechanical error at the moment although loss of fuel has not been ruled out.
Pilot error is not thought to be a factor.
Also bear in mind that some of the quotes are provided by foreign people. It may come as some surprise that there are people that talk funny that live in far away places and they occasionally get on planes.
Why are the quotes not English ffs Might be British Airways but that's the company name not their passenger policy
