seems the most sensible option really doesn't it! plenty or torque plenty of power and economical.. <-- forgotten what that last word means, but im sure it goes there

bit of inside the industry info here,

dont spend a fortune on sports cats, they are massively over priced for what they are. at the same time ignore some of the cheap ebay sheisty ones.

I sell a few sports cat options depending on engine and exhaust bore size, never had 1 fail an MOT for emissions, even as low as a 100 cell cat!

let me know the bore size you want and I will get you a price. (most come in at £158)

from experience a lad local has a standard 2.0 astra and it wasnt that much quicker than my mates vtr...

so dont expect loads of performance. personally i'd got for the dti and remap

Just got a quote now and theres 50quid difference between a 1.6 SXi and my car ATM

Ive got a 1.6 8v, its not the fastest car but its not terribly slow. Defo a keeper, good cars, would have another one maybe a diesel next time though.
